We explore the heart of Cape Town City Bowl where the main heritage landmarks are situated. Situated at the foothill of Signal Hill, Bo-Kaap was built and leased to slaves. The houses resembles a mix of Cape Dutch and Georgian architecture in distinctive multi-coloured rows. The bright colour paint was an expression of freedom by slaves who became home-owners after the abolishment of slavery.
It is one of the oldest Markets in Cape Town full of crafts, jewellery, clothing and curios at affordable values and where the story of the historic cobbled square can be discovered
Named one of the Seven Wonders of the world, Table Mountain is rich in floral biodiversity. It is known for its flat top as it resembles a table top, the mountain is the country’s most photographed attraction and its famous cable car. Table Mountain hides many surprises awaiting to be discovered.
